Cosmetic Surgery Treatments in the UK
When people think of plastic surgery they might not be taking into account the abundance of procedures that are out there. Whilst some will often think of the oft-documented procedures such a breast implants (breast enlargement or breast augmentation), breast reduction, facelifts, liposuction, tummy tucks and rhinoplasty there are in fact many more at the disposal of a fully qualified cosmetic surgeon.
Take, for example, blepharoplasty. This is also known as eyelid surgery and is a lesser known form of cosmetic surgery that involves removing various blemishes from around the eyes. It means that people who are unhappy with eye bags or crows’ feet might decide to undergo blepharoplasty to iron out such features.
Another form of cosmetic surgery people might not hear about often is male breast reduction, whereby breasts are reduced in size on a male patient after breast growth has taken place as a result of a process known as gynaecomastia.
There are many different cosmetic surgery procedures out there, all with their own benefits and specific goals. If someone has considered all of their options and made a fully informed decision, then it might just be the thing for them.
